Ethiopia Takes Part in TICAD Ministerial Meeting

Addis Ababa: Ethiopian delegation headed by Ambassador Mesganu Arga, State-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, took part in the TICAD Ministerial Meeting held in Tokyo, Japan under the theme "Co-create Innovative Solutions with Africa." During the occasion, the state minister emphasized on peace and stability agenda. Mesganu also stated the need to adopt a comprehensive approach that focuses on strengthening the humanitarian-development-peace nexus to address current peace and security challenges and appreciated Japan's continued assistance in this regard. The TICAD Ministerial Meeting serves as a milestone, laying the groundwork for and leading up to TICAD 9, to be held in 2025, according to Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Source: Ethiopian News Agency
