PM Abiy Expresses Sadness Over Landslide Victims in Various Parts of Ethiopia

Addis Ababa: -Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed expressed sadness over landslide victims in various parts of the country. Abiy shared on social media: 'I would like to express my sorrow to our people who have been affected by landslides that occurred in various parts of our country.' The premier revealed that pertinent authorities have been instructed to provide appropriate support to the victims. He also urged all citizens to support the affected communities by any means possible. We have been witnessing the negative impacts of our centuries-long failure to protect nature, Abiy said, adding that the Green Legacy Initiative is a key solution to addressing such problems in a sustainable manner.
