According to Burkina Information Agency, this awareness-raising outing is an initiative of the Bagassi city national police, which was joined by the citizen watch for greater impact. The awareness-raising team rode motorcycles, wearing helmets, along the city’s main arteries to set an example. They then positioned themselves in strategic locations to deliver their message to motorcycle users and other passersby.
The awareness-raising message was broadcast in local languages ??to reach a large number of people. Emphasis was placed on the importance of wearing a helmet as a means of protection against fatal accidents and injuries in the event of an accident. Wearing a helmet can save lives, they explained.
