Doha: The State of Qatar hosted the signing ceremony of a Declaration of Principles between the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Congo River Alliance/March 23 Movement. This development is viewed as a crucial step towards achieving peace and stability in the eastern region of Congo.
According to African Press Organization, the signing of this declaration is the culmination of months of diplomatic efforts by Qatar, which sought to establish a conducive environment for constructive dialogue between the involved parties.
